Shop Social Inc. d/b/a Trendsi (“Trendsi”) respects the intellectual property rights of
others and expects its users and suppliers to do the same. It is Trendsi’s policy, in
appropriate circumstances and at its discretion, to disable or terminate the accounts of
users who repeatedly or egregiously infringe the copyrights, trademarks, or other
intellectual property rights of others.
Trendsi is a business-to-business (B2B) online marketplace platform. We do
not manufacture, own, or design the products sold on our
platform. Product content, including images, descriptions, and branding, is provided and
controlled by independent third-party sellers and suppliers. As such,
Trendsi cannot and does not guarantee that listings do not infringe the
rights of third parties. However, we take all good faith reports of intellectual property
infringement seriously and will act in accordance with applicable law to investigate and,
where appropriate, remove or restrict access to infringing content.
1. DMCA Compliance and Copyright Infringement Claims
In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), available at
www.copyright.gov,
Trendsi will respond expeditiously to valid claims of copyright infringement on our website
or platforms (collectively, the “Sites”).
If you are a copyright owner or an agent authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe
that material on our Sites infringes your copyright, please submit a takedown request using
our official form.
2. Disclaimer Regarding Marketplace Content
By submitting a notice, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Trendsi is a neutral third-party service provider;
- Trendsi does not manufacture, create, or curate the content or products offered on the platform;
- Trendsi has no ownership or editorial control over the listings provided by third-party users;
- Trendsi disclaims all liability for infringing content posted by users unless properly notified and given an opportunity to act;
- You consent to Trendsi sharing your claim and contact information with the supplier who posted the content for investigatory and legal purposes.
3. Review Process and Enforcement
Trendsi will evaluate all valid takedown requests. Based on the facts and applicable law, we
may:
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing listing;
- Notify the responsible seller and supplier;
- Request additional documentation;
- Terminate repeat infringers or bad actors.
Trendsi is not required to adjudicate disputes between IP claimants and sellers. In
borderline or disputed cases, we may decline to act absent a court order or clear legal
authority.
